  1. Assistance granted to any Govt. agency for the purpose of construction of house exclusively for the benefit of SC/ST where the loan component does not exceed Rs. 5 Lacs per unit and all advances for slum clearance and rehabilitation slum dewellers would continue to be classified as weaker section advances. Beside the Government agencies assistance given to non Governmental agencies approved by National Housing Bank for the purpose of refinance will also be eligible for all categories of borrowers as applicable to the Government agencies

NOTE
In case of term loan(including house loan) a moratorium period of 12 months is granted, in such cases 12 cheques  be obtained from the customer to recover the interest on monthly basis. Bank shall also keep 15 cheques on yearly basis and shall present the same on nonpayment. In case of bounce of instrument bank may charge Rs.50.00 for each cheque plus postage. In case of closer of account by shifting to another bank, bank shall charge 2% extra on the remaining amount on the day of closing of account.

  

  1. All investment in bonds issued by NHB/HUDCO # exclusively for financing of housing, irrespective of the loan size, per dwelling unit, will be reckoned for inclusion under Priority Sector advances
